4open is thrilled that Dr. Ijaz S. Jamall, one of its editorial board members, has been appointed as a member of the European Academy of Science and Arts, under the class II (medicine) membership category.
Dr. Jamall currently serves on the editorial board of 4open, in the Life Sciences – Medicine discipline. He is part of the Theodor Billroth Academy and It’s International Consortium for Scientific Excellence (INCORE), and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and an Associate of the Royal Society of Medicine; it is an honour for 4open to have such a respected scientist on its editorial board.
Earlier this year; Dr. Jamall worked closely with Björn Brücher (4open Editor-in-Chief, Life Sciences-Medicine) to publish their special issue: “Disruption of homeostasis-induced signaling and crosstalk in the carcinogenesis paradigm ‘Epistemology of the origin of cancer’” which brings a new level of understanding of carcinogenesis and cancer. They are also guest editors of another open special issue “Parasitology and Carcinogenesis” published in 4open.
4open is pleased that Dr. Jamall is following in the footsteps of its other Editors-in-Chief, Björn L.D.M. Brücher and Theodore E. Simos (Mathematics – Applied Mathematics), who are also members of the EASA. Congratulations to Dr. Jamall once again.
