We are delighted to welcome Professor Richard Daniellou to the 4open editorial board where he will support the areas of Chemistry-Applied Chemistry and biochemistry in particular. Professor Daniellou holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and is widely published; currently co-author of 74 publications and 3 patents. Also, contributing to his success, he has gained a wealth of experience whilst studying and working at a number of international institutions including:
- University of Paris XI
- University of Saskatchewan
- Orléans University
- Rennes National School of Chemistry (ENSCR)
- Institute of Organic and Analytical Chemistry (ICOA)
- French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)
Following his interest in carbohydrate-active enzymes as biocatalysts for chemo-enzymatic synthesis of glycoconjugates, Professor Daniellou created and leads the Enzymology and Glycobiochemistry research group at the ICOA and is also director of GDR Cosm’actifs, which brings together more than 50 French research teams to advance knowledge of cosmetics in relation to facial and body skin care.
We are thrilled to have him join the 4open editorial board and feel sure that his extensive academic experience and industry knowledge will support the further success of the journal. He will be working closely with Professor Dr. Stéphane Petoud, our Editor-in-Chief for Chemistry-Applied Chemistry, who was appointed last year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Daniellou for accepting the position and we look forward to working closely with him.
